Sibes boutique is founded by the Choeu Sisters (Mpho and Nthabiseng). We loved fashion from a very young age. Growing up, we used to play around with our grandmother’s sewing materials and patterns trying to create our very own unique outfits. One of the challenges that we came across when we grow up and started to do shopping for ourselves was that, we always struggled to get clothes that really resonate with us in terms of style. That’s when we decided to open our very own fashion boutique because we understand that they are people out there who are just like us struggling to get the clothes that resonate with their style.
We were also inspired by our late grandmothers love for fashion and innovative ideas for clothing. The boutique is named after her”Raesibe” and one of the Sisters Mpho who is named after our grandmother. Growing up we used watch her make chlotes, wedding gowns and tracksuits for local schools, she was passionate about her work and always wanted to pass on her skills to us. We were helping her to cut patterns and materials for the new garments that she was making. that really fascinated us. She was always stylish, elegant and unique.
Our sense of fashion and style has always been different but we always mixed and matched our items and came up with that simple and elegant look, we are always creative. Our style is different but when we put our ideas together, we always realize that there is that common factor, we end up coming with a brilliant idea together. We have an eye for timeless, style and elegant clothing hence the birth of Sibe's Boutique so that we share our taste in style with the world.
